Day-By-Day Itinerary

Depart Nairobi at 7:30 AM (hotel or airport pickup) for the 5 to 6.5 hour drive to Masai Mara, with a scenic stopover at the Great Rift Valley. Arrive by early afternoon, check into your camp, enjoy a hot lunch, then head out for an afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge by 5:30 to 6:00 PM, freshen up, and enjoy dinner. Overnight at the lodge. Note: The final hour of the drive is on a bumpy, corrugated road may be uncomfortable for guests with back problems, who should consider flying directly in and out of Masai Mara instead.

Depart at 6:00 AM for an early morning game drive (prime time for wildlife activity, including possible hunt sightings), return for breakfast and a short rest, then head out again for an afternoon game drive with a picnic lunch, staying out until park closing. Return to the lodge by 6:00 PM.
